What a beautiful weekend in Benton Harbor Michigan it was for Alyssa & Abels 12 Corners Vineyard Wedding! The sun was shining, there was the perfect breeze, and they were surrounded by all of their loved ones.
Alyssa & Abel started their day getting ready at separate locations. Alyssa stayed at a beautiful VBRO that was right on a canal. I could feel Alyssa’s excitement as I entered the room to greet her. She had waited 6 wonderful years to marry the man of her dreams, and couldn’t wait any longer! Alyssa had her team of ladies by her side all morning. Such a supportive group of young women, they even were all tearing up as they listened to Alyssa read the love letter from Abel. Alyssa & the ladies all headed out after getting ready to the ceremony site at The Rocky Gap in Benton Harbor.
The wedding ceremony at The Rocky Gap was breathtaking & even after their “I Do’s” we had a sprinkle of rain just for good luck. It was perfect! Alyssa & Abel, and their entire bridal party all headed to Tiscornia Beach in St. Joseph for some more portraits before the reception. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful a Pure Michigan wedding can really be! The beach overlooked Lake Michigan, and it was the perfect backdrop for their photos.
We then all headed over to 12 Corners Vineyard for the reception. As you will see, Alyssa put such hard work into every little detail of their wedding reception. From the (my personal fav) donut wall display, to the melted wax candles. Everything was gorgeous & no detail went unnoticed.
Alyssa & Abel are some of the kindest souls we know. Such a pure, genuine love that we feel so blessed to have been able to capture. This Benton Harbor Wedding was simply magnifiqué! Hope you enjoy their Pure Michigan wedding day as much as we did!

I cannot imagine our special day without her. From the moment I inquired back in August of 2020, to our wedding day October 2021, Kate was with us every step of the way. We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day!
