Here in Michigan, if you don’t already know or live here, we have some pretty bipolar weather (to put it nicely). On the day of Jessica & Justins E.Sesh, Michigan surely showed its awkward personality when it comes to the forecast by unpredictably misting (yes, not raining, misting) on & off during their session. As you will see, even among the tiny little mist drops around them, Jessica, Justin & even little Maddie, weren’t affected by their damp, freezing surroundings. These are the kind of moments that really solidify my connection with my clients. Not only did they not complain once about this weather, but they even openly joked that this possibly will happen on their wedding day, and at least now they have had some practice in these types of elements! I loved that! They embraced what was unexpectedly presented in front of them & made not only the best of it, but found humor in a moment that most others might get truly upset about. They had a blast! Damp hair & all, possibly quivering with the ever so chilled December like air, they still didn’t let it show. These are the clients I thank God for because they are the ever-so-rare, madly in-love, genuine couples who I am so grateful chose us for their big days!
With all that being said, we cannot wait to capture these two tying-the-knot, this Summer! I hope you enjoy this beautiful Fall E.Sesh & ignore the first snow fall we have going on outside right now (I know I sure am)! I cannot imagine our special day without her. From the moment I inquired back in August of 2020, to our wedding day October 2021, Kate was with us every step of the way. We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day!
