If anyone were to be called my muse of 2020, it would have been Sarah & Brandon! These two were down to get down with any of my crazy photo shoot ideas to get the shot. Not only were they so trusting of my creativity, but so damn good looking didn’t hurt the process at all either! The day after Sarah & Brandon’s Riviera Maya wedding in Mexico, I offered to see if they’d be open to rolling around in the sand, and playing in the ocean. I was apprehensive that they might not go for this, but was overly geeked when Sarah said they were all in! Jessica, my main second shooter, helped me scout out a gorgeous spot at Unico in Riviera Maya, for their beach photo shoot. The weather was perfect, and a heavy, moody sunset was rolling in. It couldn’t have been any better! When Sarah & Brandon showed up to their beach photo shoot, I eased them by starting with the palms surrounding us. Once things got heated up, it was time to head to the ocean. They were straight flaw-less when it came to staying super smoking hot while heavy waves crashed against them. Hello. This is why they’re my muses! We didn’t stop at playing in the ocean for our shoot, we then headed to the sandy beach & things got really…sandy! These photos were some of my absolute favorites because it was a vision I had for SO long, and finally able to capture it with the absolute perfect clients! These two, man, just so authentically original, kind, passionate, and just freaking amazing people. I mean, I later found out Sarah “HATES” sand, and look, she freaking rolled around in, for me!! Like, I could cry?! These images are the highlight of my 2020 & these clients are just the icing on the cake to a hell of a year & another one coming. So grateful for these two! I cannot imagine our special day without her. From the moment I inquired back in August of 2020, to our wedding day October 2021, Kate was with us every step of the way. She was amazing at communicating, answering my (many) questions, and making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Throughout this process, she\ became a great friend as well. We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day! She made coordinating locations and poses stress free. We had a large bridal party and were a little worried about pictures being chaotic, but Katelynn was so patient with everyone and made it look like a breeze!
