Wow- I certainly fell in love with Charleston, and fast! I knew when visiting I had to capture a couples session here, and at some of the most iconic spots. I mean, we could have photographed anywhere all over Charlestons Historic District to be honest! It has endless beauty, stunning growing ivy, charming doors galore, and SO much history. Working with Kenia & Rogers made our Charleston trip & experience that much better! We started early in the morning, and Scott & I rode our bikes from the Ryder Hotel in Charleston to Rainbow Row. We had scouted it out the day before, and it was totally overwhelmed with tourist. It was nice to actually see it without mobs of people. In all honesty though, there are SO many gorgeous places surrounding the area that you really don’t “have” to see this when visiting Charleston. Kenia & Rogers made the start of our shoot effortless. These two are not only madly in love, but danggg, such models, too! It was like shooting a couple for a bridal magazine! I was smitten the entire time with these two!
From Charleston Historic District for our photo shoot, we headed to Battery, White Pointe Garden. It had rows of stunning Oak trees with moss hanging off. I was just dying! The sun came through beautifully, and it was the perfect morning! We did learn that this is also a park that for a certain amount of time in the morning, is a leashes off dog park…..so….Otis the Labrador made sure to say “HELLO” during their photos. I didn’t happen to capture him jumping all over Kenia & Rogers (with so much love- LOL) because I was trying to make sure he didn’t knock me over and chasing him myself to keep him from dirtying their clothes. ???? It was pretty hilarious and totally out of the blue. Had us all cracking up! We cleaned up, and set forward with the shoot! ????
We then went over near the Battery Carriage House & took some super cute, fun, and totally on point photos for Charleston. We used the bike I rode over on from Ryder Hotel, and it was the perfect prop! Kenia & Rogers looked so dang dreamy in anything they did. So of course, they made bike riding look magazine worthy, too!
Kenia & Rogers pulled together a stunning wardrobe for this shoot. Kenia is just simply breathtaking, and crushed her hair & makeup for this couples Charleston photo shoot. I can’t thank these two enough for working with me on our trip to Charleston, South Carolina. It was a dream come true! Can’t wait to head back int he future!

I cannot imagine our special day without her. From the moment I inquired back in August of 2020, to our wedding day October 2021, Kate was with us every step of the way. We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day!
