I am a sucker for Fall weddings, I mean, who isn’t! The smell of leaves burning in the back of someones yard, the cool breeze over your skin, enough to give you just a nip of goosebumps, and the warm sun trying to fight its rays through the autumn clouds. Shavawn & Kyle had this exactly {with a touch of “winters coming” wind} to a ‘T’ during their wedding day last early October. To me & Jessica {my lovely second shooter}, this day was pure perfection to shoot a wedding, and we couldn’t wait to get started.
We both started with the bride & groom while they got ready. I remember first walking into the hotel to the stunning Shavawn, she was in her adorable patterned robe getting her makeup on. Shavawn & I are just like old friends, so we immediately hug each other & start gossiping about the day ahead! She was OVER the moon excited to finally be marrying the man of her dreams, and rushes of emotions frequented her facial expressions from then on. I cannot tell you enough good things about this wonderful couple I was truly blessed to meet, and shouldn’t probably start to or I’ll be typing a book! 😉
While Jessica captured Kyle getting ready at Waldenwoods , we made our way over to the venue to get ready for the ceremony. As you will see, Shavawn & Kyle had thee perfect setup for a rustic wedding!
I think I will let just a few of my favorites from their day tell the rest of the story for you, because as you all know, my pictures are WAY better than my words will ever be. So, at last, enjoy Shavawn & Kyles wedding at Waldenwoods!

I cannot imagine our special day without her. From the moment I inquired back in August of 2020, to our wedding day October 2021, Kate was with us every step of the way. She was amazing at communicating, answering my (many) questions, and making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Throughout this process, she\ became a great friend as well. We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day! She made coordinating locations and poses stress free.
