This UNICO 20°87° Wedding in Rivera Maya was simply breathtaking. When Sarah & Brandon invited Jessica & I along to document their Mexico wedding, my jaw hit the floor! I was SO flabbergasted! So you know it was gut wrenching when 2020 hit, and all the craziness started piling on, but you will hear me repeat this- the power of prayer is something else! To a lot of everyones surprise, we were so grateful to be able to head to Mexico, safely, and document this wedding after so many things had been changing this year. As soon as we arrived, we began the praying again!! Why you ask? Well that gosh dog weather was just not on our side- 80% chance of thunderstorms all day in Riviera Maya was ahead of us. So, Jessica & I, along with I’m sure everyone else there, prayed for the rain to hold off. Low & behold, God parted that storm (you should have watched the radar- lol!) & we didn’t have a drop of rain after the morning storms strolled on through! ????????????????
As you will see, Sarah & Brandon’s UNICO 20°87°Wedding went off without a hitch. The day was filled with SO much DANG LOVE! The tears were shed from the moment we started until we left. All. The. Happy. Tears. It is definitely something I think we all hope for with our families, to be so connected, loved unconditionally, and holding back nothing when it comes to loving each other. They shared the biggest desire to see Sarah & Brandon happy, every single person there. If there is something I hope for more of in 2021, is more weddings like this! Just about the LOVE.
Don’t be alarmed that we didn’t hit the beach for their wedding photos – we saved that for a special photo shoot, just the two of them, and that will be worth the wait- so stay tuned!! We were so lucky to have Katelynn as our photographer! She was truly amazing to work with! We found Katelynn through a friend who had previously booked her for her wedding. Wedding photos were really important to me and I wanted memories that we could cherish for the rest of our lives. After seeing her work, we knew that we wanted her to capture our wedding day! She made coordinating locations and poses stress free. We had a large bridal party and were a little worried about pictures being chaotic, but Katelynn was so patient with everyone and made it look like a breeze!
